MARK - ID#A564885 My name is Mark and I am an unaltered male, brown and white Chihuahua - Smooth Coated. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 8 months old. I have been at the shelter since Sep 28, 2025. Deadline: 12/3/25 at 2PM due to length of stay Mark was originally brought to the shelter as a puppy in May of last year. He was adopted shortly after arriving, but tragically, he has made his way back to our kennels over a year later. Despite all of our attempts to contact his adopter, Mark's owner never came back for him. Mark has now been in the shelter for an extended period of time and is showing signs of severe mental distress known as kennel stress, which can lead to: ? chronic anxiety ? depression ? long-term or even permanent behavior changes He urgently needs an adopter or rescue intervention to prevent further decline. A safe, calm home can reverse what the shelter environment can?t. Mark has been kenneled with other dogs and social with staff while here.
