Maisie

Maisie is an adoptable female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Maisie, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Maisie is a sweet, easygoing girl who enjoys affection and especially loves a good back rub! She walks well on leash and has been seen happily wagging her tail while spending time with people. Maisie may be a little timid at first, but she enjoys being petted and will even whimper when she's hoping for some extra attention. Around other dogs, she tends to be tolerant and keeps mostly to herself, though she can be social at times. With her gentle nature and love for affection, Maisie is ready to find a home where she can settle in and soak up all the pets she deserves. Contact us about Maisie today! Due to capacity at the shelter, Maisie is currently at risk and urgently needs placement. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing Maisie, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov.
