Hailey

Hailey is an adoptable female American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is a young adult and large in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 4 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Hailey, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Hailey is a laid back sweetheart who loves to give and receive affection. 'She knows the sit and shake commands, and will often offer you her paw to gain your attention. 'Her energy level is on the low end of the spectrum, but enjoys leisurely walks. 'She walks very well on a leash and has excellent manners. 'She rides well in a car, although she can be a little nervous at first. 'Based on volunteers' observations, she is pottie-trained, very well behaved and not reactive at all to other dogs, squirrels or ducks. 'She will slowly approach people and other dogs in a friendly manner for social interaction. 'In addition to those already mentioned, other characteristics that would make Hailey ideal for an apartment home include being comfortable riding in an elevator and has never been observed to bark.
