Beyblade is an adoptable male German Shepherd looking for a home at Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is a young adult and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to other. Adopting Beyblade, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Intake Info: Beyblade (A2344529) had been roaming the area where he was found for several days. When our officer arrived to transport him, he was observed to be very thin. However, Beyblade was energetic and showed a good appetite. The finder reported offering him several bowls of food. He has shown no signs of aggression. Beyblade does have a microchip, but no owner information was registered. Medical: Heartworm negative, hookworms, and up to date on vaccines. He is currently on FAS medication to help with stress and anxiety. Volunteer Notes: Beyblade spins and barks in his kennel. In the yard, he spent most of his time looking for a way to escape. He is very food motivated and will sit for a treat. He is a nice boy who appears to be struggling with anxiety in the shelter environment. Behavior Notes: Beyblade is steerable with the use of a pet corrector. He entered the yard with Brynn, and no play was observed today. He was somewhat humpy but responded to correction and stopped after a few attempts. Staff Notes: Beyblade displays extreme hyperactivity, with constant spinning and jumping in his kennel. His current level of stress is making it difficult for him to settle, and FAS medication alone has not significantly curbed this behavior. A new environment may help him decompress and allow him to show more of his true personality. Request to Rescues: Beyblade is in urgent need of rescue because he is extremely stressed in the shelter environment and is not showing well in his kennel. He is a young boy who needs the opportunity to decompress in a calmer setting, receive guidance and structure, and learn appropriate manners.
