China

China is an adoptable female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to medical. Adopting China, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

China is a female dog who presented bright, alert, and responsive (BAR) with a large, pendulous mass on her right hindlimb. Further veterinary diagnostics are needed to determine the nature of the mass and whether it is cancerous or non-cancerous. Depending on the diagnostic findings, additional treatment and surgical care may be required. This level of specialized diagnostic and medical care exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite her condition, China remains resilient and is doing her best while receiving supportive care. China needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive prompt veterinary evaluation, diagnostic testing to determine the nature of the mass, and appropriate treatment based on the findings. This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing China, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov.
