Harlee

Harlee is an adoptable female Retriever looking for a home at Bartow County Animal Control in Cartersville, Georgia. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Harlee, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Harlee has had a difficult time adjusting to being at Animal Control. She was so scared and shut down that she would tremble in the corner of her kennel when staff would enter. Now, with some patience, Harlee is so incredibly sweet and affectionate. She walks really well on a leash and is learning that toys are not scary. Finding a playmate for Harlee has really helped her come out of her shell and show her great personality. Estimated to be 8 months old
