Lucky

Lucky is an adoptable male Terrier looking for a home at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a young adult and small in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to behavior. Adopting Lucky, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Lucky is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Lucky is a nervous boy, he is avoidant and tense with handling. He is unsure of staff but has allowed some handling but with too much pets or too fast movements he does whip head or air snap. He needs time out of the shelter to be able to decompress with someone who is kind and patient to allow him the time to show his true colors. Due to the severity of these behaviors, this animal is transfer only and not a foster candidate at this time. Additional behavioral details are available to interested partners upon request. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
