Sprite

Sprite is an adoptable male Chihuahua looking for a home at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is senior and small in size. He is listed on the shelter's euthanasia list, listed due to medical, and that date has now passed. Shelters often move these dates, so Sprite may still be waiting. The shelter can confirm.

This little guy was diagnosed with a heart murmur and dental disease. He'd benefit from follow up at a full-service veterinarian. Sprite is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Sprite is an old man that barely has teeth. He allows minimal handling, but will try to bite when things are close to his face. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. Due to the severity of these behaviors, this animal is transfer only and not a foster candidate at this time. Additional behavioral details are available to interested partners upon request. This animal needs placement by 10/6 at 3 PM.
