Rowdie

Rowdie is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Fulton County Animal Services in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a young adult and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Rowdie, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Hi, I'm Rowdie! I'm a sweet, gentle guy who likes to take life at a slower pace. I'm not the most playful dog, but I enjoy going for walks and taking in everything around me. I did well during my dog assessment and was perfectly happy coexisting with the other dog rather than joining in on the games. I may do best with a dog who has a similar calm play style, and I'd love a family who will give me time to build my confidence and get comfortable. When I'm ready for some affection, I'll come over and let you know! I enjoy gentle pets and love leaning into my person once I feel comfortable. I also know how to sit and lie down, so I'm already showing off some good manners. If you're looking for a sweet, lower-energy companion who would rather enjoy a peaceful walk and some quality time together than be the life of the dog park, I might just be your guy!
