Located At: BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions Description: My name is Glenn. I am a neutered male, brown and white German Shepherd Dog mix. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 10 months old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 27, 2026. I am in kennel DADOPT16. Glenn is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! He loves naps, snuggling with his people, and knows to go outside when it's potty time. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, he quickly warms up and becomes a loving companion. Glenn gets along well with other dogs, kids, and adults, and his ear is healing nicely after treatment for a previous infection. He's ready to find a forever family to call his own! ID #A2077131 Neutered Male | German Shepherd Mix | Brown/White | 10 months old DOB: 12/27/25 Weight: 37.8 lbs Intake date: 9/26/26 Originally entered BARC 5/27/26; fostered 6/10/26'9/26/26. Glenn is still just a puppy, but he has already spent far too much of his young life connected to the shelter system. He originally arrived at BARC in May, went to foster in June, and returned to BARC on September 26. Now this energetic, people-loving boy needs another chance to get out. BARC even featured Glenn in a post a few months ago! ❤️ See more about him here: ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Glenn is currently noted as medically normal and tested heartworm NEGATIVE on 9/27. He was neutered on 8/29. When Glenn originally arrived in May, he had moist dermatitis/pyoderma on his head and infections in both ears. His ears were cleaned and treated with Claro, his wound was clipped and cleaned, and he received Clavamox and Rimadyl. Those earlier issues are not noted on his current medical exams. ⸻ BEHAVIOR NOTES: Glenn is a young, energetic puppy who has repeatedly shown a loose, wiggly body and fast-wagging tail with handlers. Earlier notes describe him as friendly, patient for treats, easy to leash, good on leash and happy to play with enrichment. Shelter life appears increasingly difficult for him. Glenn has become very vocal and excited in his kennel, especially when people or dogs pass. He may bark, jump or rear at the kennel door and can pull on leash. Staff note that he can settle when the area becomes quiet and that treats and rawhide can redirect him.
