In the catch pen he had a soft body and a low tail wag as he solicited affection to the runner. The runner easily clasped the collar around his neck. He was walked into the play yard on a long, loose leash. He was walked up to a male Malinois mix. He exchanged a timid greeting with him and walked away. Leashes were dropped. He was approached by a male great Pyrenees and exchanged a timid greeting with him. He was approached by a female lab mix and exchanged a timid greeting with her. The female lab offered him a play bow. He accepted the play and play bowed back at her. He engaged in a light gentle/dainty play. When she made contact with him during play, he gave her teeth and created space. The male great Pyrenees joined in on their play. When the male great Pyrenees bummed into him, he gave him teeth and walked away. He sought out handler often to solicit affection in the yard. He remained tolerant of the dogs in the yard as long as they didn't jump on him. He would benefit from continued socialization and confidence building. He would do best with a calmer dog who would respect his space and boundaries. Due to incidents outside of the care center, he will be no small dogs required.
