Gigi A5804366 (Intact) was next to her kennel mate, barking defensively upon the handler's arrival. She stopped vocalizing after the handler stepped into the kennel. Gigi stood in a corner, tense and trembling, but gradually relaxed with consistent coaxing and gentle petting. She was easily leashed and led to the yard, requiring leash guidance along the way due to her apparent nervousness in the kennel environment. Gigi was allowed to decompress prior to the assessment. She initially pulled away when the handler attempted to pet her but settled with firm leash control. She stood with a nervous demeanor and a slightly tense posture, tolerating handling of her ears, mouth, tail, abdomen, and paws. The handler then continued with a brief enrichment session before returning Gigi to her kennel without incident. Due to her nervous nature, Gigi could benefit from a low-stress environment and slow introductions, as this may allow her to become comfortable around people.
