Boon

Boon is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is listed on the shelter's euthanasia list, listed due to lack of space, and that date has now passed. Shelters often move these dates, so Boon may still be waiting. The shelter can confirm.

Evaluation Notes: 10/09/2026 - Dog came over for interaction with a loose body, wagging tail, and barking. He was nervous when I first kneeled to barking with tucked ears and able to adjust coming over for treats by hand and affection with a wagging tail and loose body. He is nervous at times by retreating with tucked ears possibly due to environment. He is highly interested in offered treats and continues to come back over to me for more. Animal ID: A828989 Breed: AMERICAN STAFF / BLEND Color: BLACK / WHITE Age: 3 Years Kennel: S4036 Days At Shelter: 7 Due Out Date: 10/11/2026
