But Dino is still waiting. This frightened baby desperately needs someone to give him the same chance Lizzie received. ⸻ 🩺 Medical Notes: * No medical concerns documented; examinations normal. * Heartworm NEGATIVE. * Received vaccinations, deworming, and Advantage Multi for parasite prevention. ⸻ Behavior Notes: Dino is extremely frightened and overwhelmed by the shelter environment. He cowers in the back of his kennel, trembles, avoids eye contact, and keeps his tail tucked. When staff attempt to walk him on a leash, he freezes, sits down, and has screamed in fear. He has needed to be carried between kennels. On October 13, Dino was found hiding in a corner with his face covered, unable to even look at the person approaching him. There have been small moments of relaxation when staff give him space. He has been observed stretching, yawning, and resting quietly once he feels less threatened.
