Donny

Donny is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is a young adult and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Donny, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Donny is a friendly guy who seems to enjoy spending time with people and may try to get in your lap for cuddles and booty scratches! From our volunteer observations, he appears to be social with other dogs and engages in rough and rowdy play that includes wrestling and physical games. Donny can be mouthy during play and pets, and he tends to pull on leash, but he knows how to sit and takes treats gently. Contact us about Donny today! Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing this dog, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov as soon as possible. When emailing, be sure to include a callback phone number so our team can contact you promptly.
