Equate is an adoptable female American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at DeKalb County Animal Services in Chamblee, Georgia. She is fully grown and large in size. Equate is a sweet, shy girl who may at first seem disinterested, but when a volunteer sat next to her on a dog bed, she slowly warmed up and then delivered a sweet little kiss! Equate is dog friendly and has done great in our doggie playgroup, which is helping her come out of her shell. She is trying to understand what it means to be taken care of. Baths are scary and she needs someone to be patient with her, but she will reward you with love and devotion. When she arrived at the shelter she was terrified and wanted to escape from the yards, and she is still trying to feel comfortable outside.
