Once frightened and hesitant, he is now described as quiet, relaxed, friendly, and full of tail wags. Donnie greets people with a loose, wiggly body, floppy ears, and a happily wagging tail. He often sits patiently at his kennel door, waiting to be leashed, and generally walks nicely on leash, although he sometimes pulls with excitement. One particularly adorable observation described Donnie standing at the gate with one ear up and his head tilted, ready to walk right into the leash loop!
