The runner closed off the divider and used a slow approach to leash/remove Pearl. She walked beside the runner appearing wary of the kennel environment. Once in the catch pen Pearl was collared/leashed with ease allowing petting during the process. Pearl greeted the dogs at the barrier nicely and was allowed into the play yard. Pearl displayed a neutral body, closed mouth, natural ear set, low tail with a soft wag, and soft eyes. She allowed the dogs to gather and sniff her tolerating the dogs around her. Once the group dispersed Pearl moved on and explored the yard sniffing/marking various locations. Pearl socialized amongst the other calm dogs then made her way to the handlers. Pearl solicited petting from them and would sit beside them. If the handler moved on, she would either follow or move onto the nearest handler. Pearl appeared to prefer to be around people and was social with the calm dogs amongst them. Pearl maintained a calm demeanor displaying no play style and was able to co-exist. Pearl could benefit from going to a home with a calm environment. Pearl is ok for public adoption low energy level calm dogs recommended
