She approached the front of the kennel when the runner coaxed her forward, but retreated when the runner presented the leash. The runner stepped into the kennel, and Luna pressed her body into the corner of the kennel while dodging the leash. She required coaxing and gentle pressure on the leash to exit the kennel. She nervously trailed behind the runner with a trembling body, and panicked anytime she felt pressure on the leash. The runner moved slowly to collar. She was hesitant to enter the catch pen, and displayed a slightly tense body and a timid demeanor once in the catch pen. She nervously entered the yard, and sat in the corner with a tense body. She snapped at the other dogs in a defensive manner, and used the handlers as a shield from the other dogs. She solicited petting from the handler. She did not engage in play with the other dogs, but was able to coexist with a group of calm dogs. Luna is slightly defensive with the other dogs, has a low energy level, and does not have a playstyle at this time.
