Tessie

Tessie is an adoptable female American Bulldog looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to medical. Adopting Tessie, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Tessie is a female dog with a history of seizures and a grade IV/VI heart murmur. She requires further veterinary evaluation and diagnostic testing to better understand her conditions and determine the appropriate treatment plan. Ongoing medical care and monitoring will be important to support her health and quality of life. The specialized veterinary care she needs exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Tessie deserves a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive further diagnostics, appropriate treatment, and ongoing veterinary care to help manage her medical conditions and maintain her quality of life. Tessie is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing Tessie, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov.
