Pocky

Pocky is an adoptable male Siberian Husky looking for a home at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 4 days left, listed due to medical. Adopting Pocky, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

This sweet older man has an abnormal coat which could be related to an underlying disorder. He would greatly benefit from further diagnostics at a full service vet. Meet Pocky! This sweet, polite 7-year-old boy is looking for a loving home where he can shine! Pocky is a calm, gentle-natured dog with wonderful manners who brings a peaceful, easygoing presence wherever he goes. Pocky has shown so many incredible qualities during his time at the shelter! He is smart and basic-obedience ready, already knowing how to sit and lay down politely when asked. He also boasts a bit of a gourmet palate, showing a refined taste for treats and specifically loving delicious freeze-dried liver snacks. On his daily walks, Pocky displays good leash manners, walking nicely on the lead and only pulling slightly when he comes across an extra interesting scent to sniff. In dog-social settings, he is dog-polite, meeting another dog through the yard fence with no reactivity and walking calmly near other dogs without being bothered in the slightest. Overall, Pocky is mellow and calm, remaining unbothered by shelter activity and happy to explore the play yard or rest quietly in the shade by your side.
