Condor
Black Mouth Cur (mix breed)
Urgent: 4 Days Left
Scheduled: October 29, 2026
Reason: Lack of Space
Condor is an adoptable male Black Mouth Cur looking for a home at Philadelphia Animal Care and Control in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 4 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Condor, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.
Condor ACCT-A-261827 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to length of stay and lack of space for incoming dogs. Condor must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER or ADOPTER by THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29TH at 10AM. Should Condor's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Condor is a sweet boy who came to ACCT Philly as a stray on September 15th. He was emaciated when he arrived but has made great progress on a refeeding plan, gaining more than 10 pounds! Condor is social and friendly with people, is very food motivated, takes treats very gently, and knows sit. He enjoys sniffing around outside, chasing toys, and exploring his surroundings. Condor has spent time in playgroups with other dogs, where he enjoys mingling and running around the yard, though there have also been times when he repeatedly attempted to mount other dogs. Staff have described him as a very sweet pup who is ready for a home. Due to his length of stay, Condor is urgently seeking placement with a rescue partner or adopter.
