In the catch pen he had a soft body and a low tail wag as the handler easily clasped the collar around his neck. He entered the play yard timidly with concerned eyes and a tucked tail. A male shepherd ran up to him and pinned him down while growling at him. A handler grabbed his leash and pulled him back and walked the shepherd away. Gorak laid down frozen and did not react to him. A female pit bull approached him, and they exchanged a soft greeting. He roamed the yard and started to relax. When a handler went to exit the male shepherd, he ran towards the catch pen door. The shepherd jumped on top of him, pinning him down and growling. One handler exited the shepherd, and the other handler pulled Gorak away. A new male shepherd mix entered the yard and Gorak slowly approached him. The two exchanged a soft greeting. A female shepherd approached him and offered him a play bow. He accepted the play and the two engaged in a gentle/dainty chase play around the yard. A female joined in on their play. He approached handlers often to solicit affection. He remained playful and social the rest of his time in the yard. He would benefit from confidence building. Gorak is social with other dogs and has a gentle/dainty play style.
