A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.' Droopy greeted the runner at the front of the kennel with a neutral body, neutral gaze, and a high tail with a soft wag. He barked excitedly while jumping up and down. He was easy to leash and remove from the kennel, and pulled strongly on leash. His body tensed and he stared at the other dogs with focused eyes when they became barrier reactive, but moved away with the runner when she kept walking. He was easy to collar. In the catch pen, his body was tense, and his eyes were concerned. He entered the yard, and greeted the other dogs with a tense body. He relaxed after a few moments, and began to offer play bows to the other dogs. He engaged in play with the other dogs, but had an awkward demeanor. He over-reacted to a correction, and engaged in a very minor scuffle with no injuries. He was easy to steer, and then continued to engage in play with the other dogs. Droopy is tolerant of the other dogs, has a medium energy level, and prefers a push/pull playstyle.
