This sweet girl was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray. While she can be a little shy at first, she's been showing us more of her personality! Aurora is a calm girl who enjoys leisurely walks at a slow to medium pace with minimal pulling. She can walk past other dogs without paying much attention to them, making her a lovely companion for relaxed strolls. At the shelter, Aurora has had positive meets with other dogs and has shown appropriate greetings at the fence before mingling with them in playgroup. She has sometimes attempted to mount other dogs during playgroup, so she'll benefit from continued guidance during dog interactions. When spending time with her human friends, Aurora enjoys the simple things in life, like splashing around in the doggie pool or lounging on a nearby bench. She may take a little time to warm up, However once she trusts you, she has will show you her calm, easygoing side. If you're looking for a laid-back companion who enjoys taking life at her own pace, Aurora could be the girl for you! She's still learning and growing more comfortable in her surroundings, and she'd love the chance to keep blossoming with a caring family by her side. Come meet Aurora at ACCT Philly and see if this sweet girl is the missing piece to your family! Aurora let me pet her down her sides, and unclip the harness before pulling it over her head. I called her back over and she immediately scampered over to me, leaning heavily into me.
