I am a male, 51.50 lbs, black and white Siberian Husky. I have been at the shelter since Sep 20, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. Behavior. Can you help? transferdas@rivco.org STAFF OBSERVATIONS 09/20/26 RP reports that dog followed her home. When RP tried to feed dog lunged and bit at her. No skin break or contact. ACO was able to use catch pole infield to safely transport dog to truck without incident. Dog bit pole several times. 09/28/26 Dog participated in playgroup style today for assessment. Dog was observed presenting appropriate greetings and being social for duration of play period. Dog also gave corrections. 10/07/26 ACT was attempting to kennel a dog with A1938288, A1938288 was moved to the outside portion of the kennel with the divider down. Other dog was placed into the kennel and the food bowl was removed. Once ACT opened the divider to introduce the two dogs, A1938288 growled and charged at dog. ACT knocked on the door as a distraction and A1938288 exited the kennel. Other dog was not injured in that interaction but was moved out. ACT wrote \"poss AA\" on kennel card and placed \"single dog kennel\" placard on kennel card as well, due to A1938288 immediately trying to initiate altercation. Later spoke with counselor, dog did well during assessments, SINGLE DOG kennel for him. 10/12/26 Dog participated in playgroup style today. 10/27/26 12:32 Dog's kennel card is marked NOD due to previous kennel altercations. Dog has been observed as being selective with other dogs in playgroup.
