Groot

Groot is an adoptable male American Bulldog looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is a young adult and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 3 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Groot, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Groot is a laid-back and social guy who seems to enjoy the company of other dogs in a calm and gentle way. From our observations, he can be a bit nervous in new situations but responds well to treats and patience. He shows interest in play and takes corrections well from other dogs, making him a pleasant playmate in group settings. Contact us about Groot today! Groot is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Groot has been in shelter for over 60 days and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner.
