Started doxycycline for 10 days on 10/30. * Mass: Approximately 1-inch firm mass at the right base of his tail. Needs fine-needle aspiration (FNA), with possible surgical removal and biopsy. ⸻ BEHAVIOR NOTES: Moose is an attention-seeking big boy who is easy to leash and walks beautifully on a loose leash, often staying right beside his handler's hip! Staff describe his relaxed body language and happily wagging tail. He sometimes barks in his kennel, seemingly craving attention and interaction. His large size makes confinement especially difficult, and staff opened both sides of his kennel to give him more room. He enjoys enrichment treats and settles down to rest at times. Moose needs a spacious, comfortable environment and someone willing to give this affectionate giant the attention he craves.
