Mario A5732212 greeted the runner with a relaxed demeanor, he was excited and eager to exit the kennel. He strongly pulled on leash. In the catch pen when he was introduced to the dogs his body was neutral, his tail was high with a fast wag, he barked, his pupils were dilated, and his ears were alert. He moved around a lot as he was being collared and leashed. He ran inside the yard and was slightly tense during his greetings. He hovered around the dogs. He was pushy. After a while he slightly settled, he followed the dogs with interest and engaged in some assertive play. He gave strong corrections to the dogs who attempted to mount him. He was a hall monitor at times, he chased the dogs. He solicited affection from the handlers. He tensed up a few times with the dogs but was easy to correct. Overall, Mario was selective of the dogs and does not have a playstyle at this time. He ran around the yard with a relaxed loose body, his eyes were soft, his tail wagged neutrally, his ears were alert, and his mouth was open with a soft pant. He allowed the handler to pet him everywhere, he remained relaxed the entire time. He was mouthy at times (all in a playful manner). When the handler pet him, he rested and leaned on her. Overall, Mario was social with the handler and displayed no aggression. Behaviorally ok for public adoption, large calm dogs required.
