He was walked into the play yard on a long, loose leash. He was walked up to a male pit bull. He exchanged a tense greeting with his hackles raised and a high stiff tail. He was walked away and walked up to a female shepherd. He exchanged a tense greeting with her. When there was tension on his leash her reacted to her moving away and tried to lunge at her while growling. He has leash reactivity and barrier reactivity. He was walked out and placed a muzzle on him. He entered the yard and greeted a male pit bull. His teeth were chattering but exchanged a softer greeting with the calm male pit bull. He approached the female shepherd and exchanged a softer greeting. A high energy female pit bull mix entered the yard. When she calmly approached him, he exchanged a soft greeting. When she started to get playful and lingered in his face, he started growling and tried to lunge at her. He was walked out of the yard. Clyde would do best with a very calm dog that would respect his space and boundaries. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, CALM DOGS (REQ), MEDIUM ENERGY, NO SMALL DOGS
