Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jun 10, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 06/10/26 During impound, dog retreated to her puppies. Dog bites the catch pole and pulls on it. Dog attempted to bite impounding ACO and ripped pants. 07/17/26 16:28 while getting media of mom and puppies dog lunged at kennel door and bit finger of staff member. use caution if handling 07/22/26 16:29 during kennel walk through observed dog sitting stoic in kennel - would not approach despite coaxing. dog remained stiff and hard starring during interaction. no kennel mate due to nursing puppies - dog remains caution/go slow. 07/29/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed presenting fearful behaviors and tolerating greetings from other dogs. Dog was observed staying close to gate/fence line and presenting exit seeking and wary of handling behaviors. Dog kept to self for duration of time in yard. 08/06/26 17:25 Upon approach dog was observed at avoiding handler in the bigger portion of kennel. Allowed handler to get dog in corner and leash while keeping eye contact. Walked well on leash to and from play-yard. In play-yard dog was observed running around yard and avoiding handler. Dog stayed in the catch-pen area. Did not protest being leashed and rekenneled currently has five other kennelmates. 08/07/26 Dog participated in play group style today. 08/19/26 Dog participated in play group style today.
