I entered the kennel from the outside but he would not approach when I presented the leash-would dodge the leash, lip lick, lower his head or walked back inside. Able to go around and close him inside, same behavior but this time he would lunge at the leash and either snap at it or grab/release the leash. Pacing, avoiding the leash. Once leashed he walked out easy, light pull to the yard. Did not seek engagement however, able to pet/touch him around the rear and back and head (tail was loose, steady wag) but he turned around and gave a low growl and hard stare so I stopped. Able to use the assess a hand for the rest of the handling-he was tense, tolerant and would low growl during touching his paws or if he was looking at me. Used a double leash to return him to kennel.
