He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by two dogs and tolerated them both sniffing him, but he was timid and had a tucked tail. After the dogs broke away, he began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to tolerate dogs approaching him and sniffing him, but he was timid and did not retum the greetings at this time. After a little time, he appeared to relax more and began to exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He remained calm and social for the rest of his time in the yard, but he appeared more comfortable around the calmer dogs. There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage in or entice and play. He did not approach the handlers, but he did allow one handler to approach and pet him. He then began to lick their hand. Mickey is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time and would likely do best with a calmer dog. He approached with soft body language and began to seek affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and hift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail without issue. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. He will need socialization to walking on leash.
