Overall, Hades was tolerant of being pet but he will require confidence building, continued socialization, and slow introductions. Hedes A5497013 was laying down when the runner approached him, he noticed the runner and got up, he growled, barked, flashed his teeth, his body was tense, his tail was high with no wag and his hackles were out. The runner displayed her leash to him, he growled but sniffed it. The runner opened the kennel door and was able to remove Hedes from his kennel. He strongly pulled on leash. In the catch pen when being collared and leashed, he shut down. He was uninterested in greeting the dogs. He entered the yard and began anxiously exploring the yard. He ignored the dogs at first but then he began following the dogs around and then began to play. He nervously walked away from the handler, the handler grabbed his leas and used it to get him closer to her. He licked his lips and concerningly stared at her. The handler coaxed him and slowly paced her hand near him to allow him to sniff her. He sniffed her, she gently pet him. He tolerated it, the handler then continued to pet him slowly and gently. He allowed her to pet him everywhere but was slightly nervous. Overall, Hedes was tolerant of being pet but he will require confidence building, continued socialization, and slow introductions.
