Rambo A5793272 was laying down when the runner approached him, he noticed her and did not get up, his eyes were soft but concerned, his mouth was closed and his tail was tucked. The runner opened the kennel door, he slightly moved his head up and stared at her, he focused on her, his eyes became wide with dilated pupils and his ears were alert. The runner was able to leash him, he walked out of the kennel on his own and kept some distance from the handler as he walked through the kennels. In the catch pen when he was introduced to the dogs his body was low, his eyes were neutral and his tail was low with no wag. He was easy to collar and leash. He entered the yard and ignored the dogs. He kept to himself and roamed quietly. He was able to coexist with the dogs. He sat next to one of the edges and watched his environmental surroundings. One of the dogs laid down and next to him and both stood by each other the remaining time in the yard. Overall, Rambo was tolerant of the dogs and would benefit best in a gentle/dainty yard. He nervously walked away from the handler when she walked over to him, the handler used the leash to move him closer to her. The handler coaxed him, he sniffed her hand then became avoidant. He allowed the handler to pet him everywhere, his eyes were concerned, his tail was low and his body was low. He displayed no aggression. He will require confidence building, continued socialization, and slow introductions. Behaviorally ok for public adoption, large calm dogs recommended, adults only required with a KHOA.
