Darius

Darius is an adoptable male Retriever looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. Darius is a 1-year-old male dog in need of a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide urgent continued medical care and support. He has not been eating and has lost approximately 10 pounds. He was initially diagnosed with canine infectious respiratory disease (CIRD), which has progressed to pneumonia and requires ongoing veterinary treatment and close monitoring. Darius would benefit from a calm, supportive environment where he can receive the veterinary care, medications, nutrition, and monitoring needed to support his recovery. Given his respiratory illness and recent weight loss, timely and consistent medical care is especially important.
