She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by a male Malinois and tolerated him sniffing her. She began to calmly roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to roam the yard and tolerate dogs approaching her and sniffing her, but she did not retum the greetings. She remamed calm and tolerant for the rest of her time in the yard. There were dogs playing dunng her time in the yard, but she did not engage in or entice any play. She was wary of the handlers in the yard and would create space from them, while fearfully whining. Lily is tolerant of the other dogs and displayed no play style at this time. The handler knelt and called to her and she slowly approached. She allowed the handler to pet her head with no reaction. When the handler checked her teeth, she would tum her head away. She allowed the handler to check her ears with no reaction She When the handler would touch any of her paws, she would pull them away. When the handler touched her tail nub, she would tuck it. She displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler, but she is very timid and does best with a go-slowapproach. She is wary of faster movements and needs to build some trust. She was retumed to her kennel without issue. Due to her need for a slower approach and her handling sensitivities, she would likely do best in an adult only home.
