More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 26, 2026. I am in kennel DA21. Weight: 44 lbs Intake date: 8/26/2026 Morita was owner surrendered at the age of 10 years 💔 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Morita came in listed with a minor injury, although her 8/26 medical exam was documented as normal. She is HEARTWORM HIGH POSITIVE, received DA2PP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines, deworming, Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. At 10 years old and heartworm positive, this senior girl deserves somewhere comfortable and safe to receive the care she needs. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Sweet Morita has been calm, relaxed and easy to handle for staff. She greets staff at the front of her kennel ready to go outside and allows herself to be leashed without issue. She walks beautifully on a loose leash, showing a relaxed or neutral body and gently swaying tail. Staff have repeatedly reported no issues walking her to and from the runs.
