She was moved to the side yard, and given a few moments to decompress before the handler entered the yard. She greeted the handler with a neutral body, soft eyes, ears back, and an open pant. She allowed the handler to pet her whole body. She turned to look at the handler with wide eyes and a heavy pant when the handler touched her legs, but was otherwise easy to handle. She continued to solicit petting from the handler once the assessment was completed. She was easier to return to the kennel when kept on a short leash by the runner's side.
