He was reportedly abandoned at a boarding business and arrived at BARC extremely frightened. ⸻ MEDICAL NOTES: This pup is LOW HEARTWORM POSITIVE. He has received DA2PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. ⸻ BEHAVIOR NOTES: This big boy appears extremely fearful and overwhelmed. Early in his stay, he tried to hide, tucked his tail and scurried away from staff. When cornered or frightened, he has shown defensive behaviors. But there are signs of progress. On 9/1 and again on 9/3, staff were able to leash him without issue, walk him outside where he relieved himself, return him to his kennel and remove the leash without problems.
