Chico

Chico is an adoptable male Rottweiler looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is a young adult and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Chico, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: Play Group: Dog displays sociability with handler by coming over to greet with a loose body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a wagging tail and is easy to leash and walk outside where he walks well on leash. He displays sociability with male and female dogs observed with by greeting appropriately and coexisting with a loose body and a low tail. He retreats from a specific dog greeting him with a tucked tail, pinned ears, wide eyes, and tense body. After some time, he is stressed by avoiding interactions and pacing along the fence with a tense body, tucked tail, and wide eyes while panting. He is easy to return to kennel.
