Valkyrie

Valkyrie is an adoptable female American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Valkyrie, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: Small cohouse interaction. Dog initially walked into the yard slowly with a low tail, raised hackles, and tense body. She adjusted by greeting both male and female dogs observed with appropriately and coexisting with a loose body and a wagging tail. She is most interested in walking around the yard independently and communicates for space appropriately. She is easy to return to kennel.
