***DEADLINE. MUST EXIT SHELTER BY 5PM TUE 9/15*** I am a female, 75.00 lbs, brown and white Pit Bull Terrier and American Bulldog. I have been at the shelter since Jul 22, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. Behavior - not doing well in shelter. Needs an adopter or rescue. Adopters visit in person. Rescues please visit in person or email TransferDAS@rivco.org Breed: Pit Bull Terrier and American Bulldog Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 08/05/26 Dog is spinning in kennel and biting through kennel doors throughout observation. 08/06/26 11:08 Took Luna out for media, was eager to get out of kennel but not difficult to leash. while walking through kennels did not react to barking dogs stayed close to handler. once out of kennel was seeking of attention from handler, and all staff walking by. was non-dog reactive while on leash. was not treat motivated but was praise motivated. Handler noticed she was more interested in approaching all male staff, more than female staff. when re kenneling was easy had no issues. 08/06/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed giving appropriate greetings and presenting minorly playful behaviors with other dogs in playgroup. 08/14/26 Dog participated in playgroup style today. 08/16/26 While helping customers with adoption meet and greets, handler heard an altercation kick off in kennel R 815. Handler observed this dog on top of kennelmate. This dog had kennel mate pinned down and she had him by his neck. Dog was difficult to interrupt. When handler went to open kennel door, this dog let go and handler was able to call her inside to separate. Marked NOD. 09/01/26 Dog participated in play group. 09/08/26 Dog appears to be declining in shelter environment. Dog is stress panting throughout observation. Dog is marked NOD due to previous kennel fight.
