Name: SNICKERS Animal ID: A5795939 Location: Downey Breed: PIT BULL Color: BR BRINDLE Sex: Female Age: 1 years 0 months Weight: 74 lbs Handling: FRIENDLY/EASYTO REMOVE Description Snickers greeted the runner with a wiggly body while licking the runner's hand. She was easy to leash and remove from the kennel, greeted her neighbors excitedly, pulled moderately on leash, and was easy to collar. In the catch pen, her body was wiggly and her eyes were soft. She ignored the runner's attempts to engage in rough play in favor of greeting the other dogs at the fence. She entered the yard, and greeted the other dogs in a pushy manner. She engaged in play with the other dogs, but could be overwhelming for some of the dogs. She began pestering one dog in particular, chasing her around the yard and jumping on her roughly in an attempt to play. The other dog offered a strong correction, causing Snickers to back away. However, Snickers immediately resumed pestering the other dog, and required firm corrections from the handlers before she stopped. The handlers were able to redirect her to an appropriate playmate, with whom she continued to rough-house. She ignored the handler's attempts to engage in rough play, preferring to play with dogs. Snickers is tolerant of the other dogs, has a high energy level, and prefers a rough/rowdy playstyle.
