We do not know what happened to Rosie
The date this shelter listed for Rosie has passed. Shelters often push these dates back, and many pets are adopted or pulled by a rescue first, so Rosie may still be there. The shelter can tell you.
Rosie is an adoptable female Labrador Retriever looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is listed on the shelter's euthanasia list, listed due to medical, and that date has now passed. Shelters often move these dates, so Rosie may still be waiting. The shelter can confirm.
Rosie is a female dog who presented with a collapsed IV disc space, a condition that can cause significant pain and discomfort and requires ongoing medical management. She will require prolonged anti-inflammatory and pain medication to help control her discomfort and support her recovery. This level of continued medical care and medication management exceeds what we are able to consistently provide at DAS. Despite her condition, Rosie remains resilient and is doing her best while receiving supportive care. Rosie needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive continued veterinary oversight, prolonged anti-inflammatory and pain medication, and appropriate rest and recovery care to keep her comfortable and improve her quality of life. This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
