Staff repeatedly describe her greeting them with a loose, wiggly body, soft eyes, wagging tail and an adorable open-mouth smile. She is generally easy to leash and has walked on a loose or semi-loose leash. Like the young pup she is, Melody can sometimes get excited and jump, but staff have also described her as 'very sweet,' 'very gentle' and calm and quiet in her kennel. Melody appears eager to play with other dogs through the fence ' running alongside them, following them and offering play bows. She has also repeatedly kept her kennel clean overnight. When people leave, she may cry or become vocal, showing just how much this social girl wants companionship.
