ID #A2092763 Male | 13 months old | Intact Staffordshire Mix | White/Black Weight: 30 lbs Intake: 8/23/26 💔 Pongo was found tied to a post on a porch after the residents were evicted. ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Pongo tested heartworm negative at intake. On 9/2, he developed a cough and increased respiratory effort consistent with CIRD/URI, causing his planned surgery to be postponed. He was started on doxycycline 150 mg once daily for 10 days. At his 9/14 recheck, his breathing appeared unremarkable, but he still had clear nasal discharge after completing treatment. His doxycycline was therefore extended another 5 days at 150 mg once daily. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Pongo is still just a puppy, and his notes repeatedly describe a wiggly, happy, treat-motivated boy with a loose body and fast-wagging tail. He is easy to leash, walks gently on a loose leash, accepts treats and is generally calm and quiet in his kennel. He is relaxed, gentle and easy to handle.
