Fifi is an adoptable female Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Fifi, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

ID #A2092050 5-year-old Staffordshire mix Female | Brown/White DOB: 8/19/2021 weight: 58 lbs Intake date: 8/18/26 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Fifi tested POSITIVE for heartworms. On 9/7, she developed sneezing, green nasal discharge, coughing and minor hacking consistent with CIRD/URI. She was moved for treatment and prescribed Doxycycline 250 mg once daily for 10 days. Her medical record also describes her simply as 'friendly.' ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Fifi is a sweet girl who greets people with a wagging tail, relaxed body and soft smiling face. She's easy to leash and repeatedly walks nicely on a loose leash. One especially adorable outing says it all: Fifi walked into the courtyard, rolled over to expose her belly for scratches, then got the zoomies and happily took treats. She's generally been calm and quiet in her kennel, although she has sometimes barked when customers pass by.
