Tiko

Tiko is an adoptable male Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. Early notes describe a tucked tail, worried expression and some initial flinching, but he has repeatedly been easy to leash and gentle to handle. Once outside, Tiko often loosens up and has frequently walked on a loose leash. Staff have found him quietly sitting in his kennel, and he takes treats gently. He has also greeted staff with a relaxed body, wagging tail and soft smiling mouth. Tiko can become vocal when surrounded by barking dogs or after returning to his kennel, but treats, enrichment and reducing stimulation have helped him settle.
