ID #A2093733 8-year-old German Shepherd mix Male | Brown/Black DOB: 8/29/2018 Weight: 60 lbs Intake date: 8/29/26 🎥 Watch Pony Boy: ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Pony Boy came to BARC injured. He was toe-touching/non-weight-bearing lame on his right hind leg with superficial wounds. Radiographs showed no obvious fractures, and testing did not indicate obvious instability of the right knee. A soft-tissue injury was suspected, with radiology and orthopedic consultations recommended. He was started on Clavamox 375 mg and Carprofen 100 mg. Pony Boy also tested HIGH POSITIVE for heartworms. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Even while injured, Pony Boy was described by medical staff as 'friendly, well mannered, and calm.' His behavior notes tell the same story. He's been calm and quiet in his kennel, friendly with staff and easy to leash. He walks on a loose leash right beside his handler and has remained neutral while going to and from the outside runs.
